Contacting the school
Student Digital Planner
This app is used to arrange medical appointments should a student need to be collected from school during school time.
Exceptions are:
- Service personnel and other employees who are prevented from taking holidays during term-time and evidence is provided to this effect.
- When a family needs to spend time together to support each other during or after a crisis.
- Parents who are subject to a strict and non-negotiable holiday rota and evidence is provided to this effect.
- Exceptional circumstances to be agreed at the Headteacher’s discretion
Students meeting the exceptional circumstances above need to complete a leave of absence form (LOA) which is available from the student hub, Heads/PA's office. Parents should complete this form and return it to the Heads/PA to forward to the Head for authorisation. Parents will receive notification if leave has or has not been authorised.
To communicate directly with school: parent or student to teacher messages are communicated through the student digital planner (all communications through this section go through info@stmarys.net
